Yemi Shin

Yemi is a sophomore at Carleton College, studying biology and computer science. Originally from South Korea, she came to the U.S for education and better opportunities. She dreams of writing a science book for the general public one day, and is passionate about teaching and listening to other people’s stories. She loves getting to know people, especially students, and she has volunteered at various institutions trying to share her love for science with others. Besides science she is into fashion and loves (eye) shopping for trendy goods. She also loves to sing, dance, and watch YouTube in her free time.
