Josh DiPaola
Josh DiPaola completed his undergraduate degree in Finance at Fordham University and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Animal Behavior and Conservation from Hunter College. Josh hope that his atypical academic trajectory (from finance to conservation!) can show others that it’s never too late to change career paths and rediscover your passions! Although Josh is passionate about all wildlife and ecosystem conservation, he is particularly focused on using behavioral research to help conserve pangolins. His current research seeks to explore the foraging behavior of pangolins in order to gain a broader understanding of how they navigate their environment, and ultimately help conserve them in the wild. Outside of science, Josh dedicates most of his time to his other passions- the sports of Olympic weightlifting and strongman, as well as hiking.
